Serbian Community Centre Sport The centre strives to have a variety of sport competitions. The centre supports a fully operation soccer team (Maddington Eagles) and organises a variety of other competitions including table tennis, basketball and chess. The Maddington Eagles Soccer Club competes in the West Australian fifth lague. This is the only spot which is fully financed by the centre and the only sport which is represented in the domestic leagues by the club. This is primarily because soccer attracts the largest number of players. Currently there are plans for upgrade of the pitch and building of soccer stands which will further expand the interest in this sport activity at the centre.

Soccer Maddington Eagles Soccer Club’s formation was closely linked with the formation of the centre itself. From their initial days they have competed in fourth and fifth domestic league in Western Australia. Coach: Branko Vukojevic Representative: Milan Katinski Players: Mladen Mazalica, Davor Nedic, Nenad Karan (GK), Marko Ergic, Radoslav Cvijanovic, Boro Cvijanovic, Predrag Vujic, Miodrag Mrzic (C), Zoran Tesic, Zoran Kovacic, Marko Banic, Jovo Mrkaja, Dule Zivkovic, Milan Milankovic, Bane Koncar, Aco, Nenad. 2003 championship has been successfully wrapped up where team took fifth position in the fifth league. Preparations for next season are underway and better results are expected. UPDATE(22-03-04): The first training and gathering of players will be at the soccer field of Maddington Eagles on 25-04-04 at 19:00. Starting from then, trainings will be at 19:00 on each thursday. The coach will be Mr. Branko Vukojevic.
